Road Alert Update - Sept. 29, 2017

 ROAD ALERT UPDATE

 

This ROAD ALERT was prepared by the Collier County Growth Management Department to inform the community about scheduled road construction and road maintenance projects along major roadways in Collier County where lane closures are planned or traffic flow may be affected.

COLLIER COUNTY CONSTRUCTION/MAINTENANCE PROJECTS:

South 1st Street between Stockade Road and Bethune Road (in Immokalee) – On South 1st Street between Stockade Road and Bethune Road in Immokalee expect traffic to be reduced from two lanes to ONE LANE ONLY on Tuesday, Oct. 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting, as crews repair a water line break. Flagmen, advance warning signs and barricades will be used to assist travelers in this area.

Airport Pulling Road between Vanderbilt Beach Road and Crescent Drive - On Airport Pulling Road between Vanderbilt Beach Road and Crescent Lake Drive expect intermittent lane closures both northbound and southbound beginning on Sunday, Oct. 1 and continuing through Tuesday, Oct. 10 OVERNIGHT from approximately 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., weather permitting, as crews mill and pave the roadway. Flagmen, lighted arrow boards, advance warning signs, rolling truck with signage and barricades will be used to assist travelers in this area.

 

WORK BY OTHERS:

White Lake Boulevard in the vicinity of Shearwater Street – On White Lake Boulevard approximately 300 feet east of Shearwater Street expect intermittent lane closures for approximately one month from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., weather permitting, as crews working for FPL work in the right-of-way next to the travel lanes. Flagmen, lighted arrow boards, advance warning signs and barricades will be used to assist travelers in this area.
