Help Collier County EMS save a life.
Collier County EMS participates in the National AED Registry™ program. First responders affiliated with a registered AED can be notified when a possible cardiac arrest within 1,200 feet of the AED is reported to the 9-1-1 center.
These responders will be alerted by SMS text and/or phone calls and asked to bring their AED to help save a life. There is no requirement to become a responder, no duty to respond if you do sign up and all responders are protected by Florida’s Good Samaritan Law.
Organizations with AEDs can register for free and allows you to:
- Easily and efficiently manage AED location and maintenance information
- Receive battery and electrode expiration reminders
- Makes it easy to comply with AED notification and registration laws
- Before you register your AED, you might want to print the “Field Requirements” to make sure you have the information needed
