Welcome! The Collier County Wastewater Department provides service to our Collier County Water-Sewer District. We serve over 52,500 commercial and residential customers covering an area of 75 square miles.
The service area runs from Barefoot Beach in the north to Fiddler's Creek in the South through over 700 miles of gravity and force main pipes. The Department produces on an average of 5 billion gallons of irrigation water per year. Our reclaimed water system delivers 12,300,000 gallons per day of irrigation water on a daily basis to various golf courses, residential and common areas located throughout Collier County. Presently, the District owns and operates two Regional Water Reclamation Facilities with a combined capacity of 41.1 million gallons per day (MGD).
The South County Water Reclamation Facility recently completed an expansion to 16 million gallons per day. The North County Water Reclamation Facility completed an expansion to 24 million gallons per day. Both expansions were placed on line in 2006.
Effluent Quality is monitored by our centralized Wastewater Analytical Laboratory to ensure compliance with the Florida Department of Environmental Regulation's operating permits. Our Wastewater Laboratory conducts over 21,000 laboratory analyses per year.
Collier County's Wastewater Team is dedicated to providing the highest quality treatment at the most reasonable cost to our rate payers. Our plant staff
