The Immokalee Master Plan and Visioning Committee was created on September 28, 2004, by Ordinance No. 2004-62. This 10-member committee will assist in the development of any necessary Requests for Proposals for consulting services; assist in the review of general planning matters related to the Immokalee Community; provide the BCC recommendations regarding roads, economic incentives, affordable housing, improvement to Immokalee Airport; and, assist in the review and updating of the Immokalee Area Master Plan. Membership shall consist of a broad base of citizens and business owners in the regulatory area of the Immokalee Area Master Plan. The term of the Committee will expire at the conclusion of its services to staff or upon adoption of the 2007 cycle of the Growth Management Plan amendments of the Immokalee Area Master Plan, whichever is earlier and shall not be later than December 31, 2007.
