Employee Referral Program

Refer to the listing of open positions posted weekly.  Positions eligible for referral bonus will be marked "Eligible" for Employee Referral Bonus.

Both the Candidate & Employee must fill out the Employee Referral Form attached to our brochure.  Be sure to include both the candidates signature and the employee's signature.

Attach the Employee Referral Form to the candidates resume' and/or application and forward them to the Human Resources Department. 

Current Employee Reward:

You'll receive 50% of your bonus amount on the referral's date of hire.  You'll receive the remaining 50% once your referral has completed six month of employment with us.

You must still be employed with Collier County in order to receive your bonus.

This bonus will be paid through the regular payroll process and will be taxable income.

Important facts to know:

If a candidate has been referred by more than one employee, the employee who first submitted the referral (based on the date and time it was received by Human Resources) is entitled to the bonus.

The referring employee MUST complete the required referral forms in order to receive the bonus.

All referrals must be given to and processed by the Human Resources Department to be eligible.

The Human Resources Director may make exceptions to program guidelines, including eligibility requirements, on a case-by-case basis.

We reserve the right to change or cancel this program at any time.

Immediate family referrals, rehires, employees who have been referred by employment agencies, or candidates whose resumes have been entered into our database via any source within the last six (6) months will not qualify as referrals.

All employees of Collier County are eligible to participate in the program with the exception of Human Resources Personnel, Administrators and Department Heads.

This offer is not good for any hire made within the referring employee's chain of command if the referring employee is a member of management.
