- All Contractors (Except State Certified) must take an exam(s) to obtain a local county license. The sponsorship application fee is $100.00 per exam.
- After the exam(s) is taken and passed, you must contact our office to obtain an application to apply for the license(s). All county licenses will expire on September 30th of every year, regardless what time of year the license was issued. All renewals will be mailed on or about the middle of August of every year.
- To obtain a Maintenance License "Handyman", please contact the Business Tax Office (Occupational) at 239-252-2477. Note: Please review the link provided, and be advised that items not mentioned on the list may require you to contact the Contractor's Licensing Office for further information or direction. - All State Certified Contractors must complete a registration form and submit a $10.00 fee. After registering, the license will need to be renewed thereafter to remain "Active" and able to pull permits or call in inspections within Collier County. State License renewals are based according to the expiration date indicated on the State License.
- A Business Tax Receipt (Occupational License) will need to be obtained if your business office is located in Collier County. (Home or Commercial) Note: This is just a Tax License to operate your business.
