The Coastal Zone Management Department’s mission is to protect, preserve and enhance Collier County’s pristine coastal ecosystem while providing strategic access and complementary facilities to this valuable County amenity for enjoyment by residents and visitors. The Coastal Zone Management Department consists of seven (7) individuals that work as a team to accomplish this mission.

CZM is responsible for providing the following services to residents and visitors of Collier County:

• Artificial Reef Deployments, Inspection and Management
• Beach Maintenance and Management
• Beach Park Facilities
• Channel marker Maintenance and Management                
• Derelict Vessel Removal
• Estuary Management
• Inlet Maintenance and Management
