To ease the burden to our contractors in the maintenance of licensure and insurance information in several Collier County locations, we are requesting that once your file has been established with our department, you maintain all updated information as follows:

· Collier County Contractor Licensing Department receives all State or local licenses you hold as well as your Occupational License, Workers Compensation Insurance or the State's Exemption form, and General Liability Insurance. An administrative service charge to enter this information on the licensing computers must be paid annually.

· The Risk Management Office requires a certificate of Insurance evidencing your Workers Compensation, General Liability and Automotive Liability insurance in accordance with the attached Insurance guide. In some instances automotive liability insurance may be waived, however that decision is made on a project by project basis. If you have any questions regarding the County's insurance requirements, please contact the Risk Management Office at 239-252-8461.

If you have any questions, please contact Collier County Housing and Human Services office at 239-252-HOME or send an email to ricktorres@colliergov.net and request a contractor information packet be mailed to you.

We look forward to working with you and thank you for your interest in helping us improve the living conditions of Collier County residents.
