The Alternative Transportation Modes (ATM) Department oversees the public transit system, Collier Area Transit (CAT), and the Transportation Disadvantaged System (TD).  CAT provides transit service seven days a week to Immokalee, Marco Island, Golden Gate, and the Naples area. CAT’s ridership has continued to increase with more than one million passengers boarding’s since its inception in February 2001. 

Landscape Operations installs and maintains landscaping on the major roadways, and Municipal Service Taxing Unit's (MSTU) groups for beautification/landscaping and drainage items are also administered by the ATM Department.
