Event benefits the Domestic Animal Services Donation Trust Fund to help homeless animals. Event activities include dog and dog owner games for prizes, discounted pet photos for the Winter Holiday by a professional photographer, vendors with specialty dog items for sale and a raffle for prizes.
This event is a partnership between DAS and Collier County Parks & Recreation.

Snowfest is the one and only chance each year that children and adults in Southwest Florida get to see snow, that is right actual snow.
Collier County Parks & Recreation chips up 70-tons of ice snow for a chilly day of fun to get people in the spirit of the Winter holidays. Snowfest includes food for purchase, snow mountains for children, glice ice skating, pony rides and a carnival. Been a while since you've seen the snow?

Christmas Around the World is an event similiar to Snowfest, but is held in Immokalee a more rural community in Collier County. Christmas Around the World includes 50-tons of snow, games, food for purchase and a lovely family evening of fun. Celebrate Christmas Around the World!

Senior Expo is a cooperative event with all of the Public Services Division departments including Domestic Animal Services, Veteran Services, Human Services, Extension Services, Museums, Libraries and Health.
Senior Expo educates seniors of Collier County about fitness programs, safety, gardening, pet adoptions and services available to them. The event includes some health screenings as well and live courtyard entertainment.

Collier County Parks & Recreation's Ice Cream Social is a fantastic outlet for children and their parents to wrap up the Summer fun and prepare for school to begin again. The Ice Cream Social always includes live music, fun contests for children, free ice cream, a rock climbing wall and free kayaking and paddleboating at Sugden Regional Park's Lake Avalon. Children are able to meet new friends and enjoy free goodies to cool off during the summer before heading back to school.
