The Collier County Public Water Supply System provides potable (drinking) water service to over 160,000 permanent residents, over 200,000 residents in season, in portions of Collier County from Barefoot Beach to the Isles of Capri.

There are over 54,000 service connections to the Collier County Public Water Supply System.

The Collier County Public Water Supply System covers approximately 240 square miles, and water is distributed through nearly 900 miles of water main.

There were 8.3 Billion Gallons of high quality water provided to customers of the Collier County Public Water Supply System in 2008; that’s an Average Day Demand for water of 22.7 Million Gallons. 

The Collier County Public Water Supply System includes two hybrid water treatment plants, three water storage and re-pumping facilities, three wellfields, and one Aquifer Storage and Recovery Well.
