Collier County Parks and Recreation Department has achieved reaccreditation by the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA). Parks and Recreation passed all 144 standards with a perfect score making them one of only 90 park and recreation agencies in the country to currently hold national accreditation.

Interactive water features include water dumping buckets, water pistols, four pools including a family pool, Tadpole pool for children 6 and under and Turtle Cove for children 5 to 12. In addition there is a lap/diving pool and Sunny's River, a lazy river attraction with five water slides.
