What's New in Collier Area Transit!
- On Jan. 14, 2010 Collier Area Transit held the Transit Development Plan Major Update Workshop at Golden Gate Community Center 4701 Golden Gate Parkway, Naples from 5 to 7 p.m. for the 10 year update. - On Jan. 1, 2010 Collier Area Transit implemented some minor changes to several routes. New schedules have been distributed around the county. For a details on the changes Click Here.
- During the month of March in 2010 CAT should be receiving the first order of new 35 foot buses, which are larger than what they currently have, to better accommodate the passengers.
How to Ride the Bus
Please have your pass, ticket or exact fare ready. Sorry, drivers can not make change. Show driver the pass, ticket or pay the correct fare and ride.
Note, Collier Area Transit is unable to transport large items such as surfboards, large strollers Bike Rack Policyor anything else that would block the vehicle's aisles. Smaller strollers are permitted. Bicycles may be transported using the bike rack located at the front of each vehicle. Pets are not allowed, except for guide/assistance animals. Smoking, eating, drinking, the loud playing of radios and recorders and wearing of rollerblades is prohibited.

Where to Buy a Bus Pass or Ticket
Monthly, Weekly or daily passes may be purchased from the bus drivers for CASH ONLY. Passes can also be obtained at the CAT Facility on 8300 Radio Rd Naples, Fl with CASH or CHECK. For information on Fare Prices Click Here or click Fare Information on the left hand side of this page.
Days of Operations
CAT buses operate seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (depending on the route). Bus schedules are available on the buses, at Collier County government offices, Collier County libraries, Naples Area Chamber of Commerce locations and various area businesses.
Holiday Schedule (No bus service)
Collier Area Transit DOES NOT operate on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Need to transfer?
A transfer from one bus to another is now .75 cents and can be purchased from the bus drivers. The following are four convenient locations to transfer from; Collier County Government Center, K-Mart Plaza, the Coastland Center, and the Health Department in Immokalee.
