The five member committee was created on June 16, 1987 and most recently amended on August 22, 1994 to carry out the requirements, conditions and various provisions of an Agreement relating to the use of land, or funds derived from the sale of land, conveyed to the County by Avatar Properties Inc. (f/k/a GAC Properties, Inc.) Applicants must reside within the subdivision known as "Golden Gate Estates." Members must reside within one of the five phases within the Golden Gate Estates area. Terms are four years.
