When do you need to apply for a permit?

 
However, if you intend to construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, demolish or change the occupancy of a building or structure, or to erect, install enlarge, alter, repair, remove, convert or replace any electrical, gas, mechanical or plumbing system regulated by the Florida Building Code, or cause any such work to be done, you are required to obtain a permit regardless of the cost.
