January 2017: Wallet Hub ranks Naples/Collier County No. 3 Best Place to Start a Business in Florida

The Naples-Immokalee-Marco Island metro area (Collier County) led the state's diversity ranking from April through June 2016, says a quarterly report by FGCU's Industry Diversification Project.

In 2016, Gallup-Healthways State of American Well-Being: 2015 Community Rankings ranked Naples (Collier County) the Happiest, Healthiest City in the US.

Economic Growth: The Naples, Marco Island, Immokalee metropolitan area topped the list of metropolitan areas expected to see the most economic growth in 2016, according to a report from the U.S. Conference of Mayors, which said the economy will grow 4.9 percent in 2016.

Naples, Marco Island, Immokalee metropolitan area was the 10th fastest growing area, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
October 2016 Forbes magazine report on Moody's Analytics, which ranks Naples and Collier County No. 4 in the Top 10 Best Cities for future job growth

In 2016, Collier County, the Naples, Marco Island, Immokalee area was named No. 17 in Milken Institute's Best Performing Cities: Where America's Jobs are Created and Sustained. 

In 2015, Collier County, the Naples, Marco Island, Immokalee area was named No. 15 in Milken Institute's Best Performing Cities, up from 60 in 2014
