COLLIER COUNTY DOMESTIC ANIMAL SERVICES OFFERS HALF PRICE ADOPTIONS
FOR NATIONAL PET MONTH

April is National Pet Month, and Collier County Domestic Animal Services (DAS) is celebrating by offering a 50 percent discount on all adoptions during the month of April. Come meet and adopt your new furry friend at half the cost!

That means you can adopt a puppy for $40 (regularly $80) or an adult dog for $30 (regular $60). Senior dogs, which are dogs aged 7 and older, can go home for $15 (regularly $30) during the month of April. Prefer cats? A kitten can go home for $30 (regularly $60) and adult cats are $20. Senior cats are only $10 (regularly $20) during this promotion.

“National Pet Month is a time when we recognize the great value that pets have in our lives every day,” said DAS Director Darcy Andrade. “From companionship to service, pets can enrich the lives of humans in many ways. By discounting adoptions, we hope to enrich the lives of new pet owners and find forever homes for Collier County’s homeless animals,” added Andrade.

Adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, heartworm test for dogs, FELV/FIV test for cats, rabies vaccination and 30 days of free pet insurance. That’s a value of more than $400!
