Five-Year Review of Rural Lands Stewardship Program [2002-2007]

INTRODUCTION:  Policy 1.22 of the Collier County, Florida, Rural Lands Stewardship Area Overlay, a part of the Future Land Use Element of its Growth Management Plan, requires, in part, that: "A comprehensive review of the Overlay shall be prepared for and reviewed by Collier County and the Department of Community Affairs upon the five-year anniversary of the adoption of the Stewardship in the LDC."  This comprehensive review was completed by the Collier County Board of County Commissioners-appointed ad hoc Rural Lands Stewardship Area Review Committee on January 6, 2009, after nearly 14 months of study and twenty three [23] public meetings.  This page contains:
