FREE & Open to the Public - SPECIAL Skywarn Certification Training Opportunity: 14 November 2016, 9am to noon in Room 206 of the Florida Dept. of Health Admin Building, 3339 Tamiami Trl. E., Naples 34112. To register, you can e-mail the Collier County Skywarn Coordinator.
Annual Collier County Skywarn training has been set for a Saturday, 4 March 2017). The training will be delivered at the South Regional Library, 8065 Lely Cultural Parkway, Naples, 34113. Class will begin at 10 am and continue to ~2:30pm. You may bring snacks as there will only be two 15-minute breaks and no extended lunch break. To register, you can e-mail the Collier County Skywarn Coordinator.

(Lee County training opportunities are addressed below. (NOTE: We have a reciprocal agreement with Tampa Weather Office for them to train Collier residents and they will be certified for Collier weather spotting.)
Spotters should attend Refresher training at least every two years.
